Almost none of the projects I watched fail did so because of the technology. They failed on definitions of “done” that never matched, on a decision made in September that was needed in March, on a handover that was a folder. The technology is almost always fine.

What hasn’t changed is the question underneath: what happens to professional judgement when a plausible answer arrives in two seconds.
